MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song for 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. In the following year, Dopamina became his second album. In 2021, he sang a duet. the singer sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was raised in an musical family. His older brother and mother are also musicians. In interviews, he described his participation in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as a young child. Although his first choice of career was to be a veterinarian, His brother Julian advised him to go for singing classes with an Cuban teacher.
